I blame the avocado, the margarita, and the eternal summer vibe for my love of Mexico. This week on Fathom, we're slinging burritos, ceremoniously sweating for temazcal, and avoiding the tourist routes. But we're saving our pesos for Mexico this winter, so we'll do a little armchair shopping in the meantime.

1. HAND-EMBROIDERED TUNIC
The Mi Golondrina textile collection is crafted by creative women in small villages around Mexico. That's all I need to know to dive into the quintessential summer frock ($145). It's light, flowing, romantic, and easy to hide under after a gigantic lunch of tostadas and beer. How about a matching one for niña?

2. ILLUSTRATED COOKBOOK
Illustrator and book designer Daniella Germain compiled her Mexican grandmother's recipes to pair with her quirky watercolor drawings for My Abuela's Table ($20).

3. PAPEL PICADO
Add some flair to your next backyard hang (Taco Tuesday, anyone?) with classic, colorful Mexican paper flags made of tissue paper ($32 for a set of ten). It's not a fiesta without them.
