A farming community (farm stand, restaurant, culinary cottages, spa) in the foothills of the Sierra de Laguna Mountains just outside of San Jose is pure magic. Arriving at the farm, visitors encounter a series of concrete buildings shaded by palm trees include a small art gallery and boutiques selling everything from Mexican crafts and locally made soaps to James Perse T-shirts. Visitors can sign up for cooking classes, plein air painting class, massages, and meals of the organic-humane-hormone-free variety.
