Hometown: New York City.

Occupation: Explorer/ gold/ diamonds/ cashmere/ tea.

Favorite destinations: London, Paris, Rome, Venice, Istanbul, Bangkok, Jaipur, Tokyo, St. Barths.

Dying to visit: Africa.

In-flight relaxation regime: Sleep.

Concierge or DIY?
Nothing beats a good concierge, but they're hard to come by, so I tend to be more DIY.

See it all or take it easy? I always look for the balance of the two. A massage helps.

Drive or be driven? Drive in LA; be driven everywhere else.

Travel hero: David Niven in Around the World in 80 Days.

Weirdest thing seen on travels: Tourists.

Best hotel amenity:
A butler, of course. I prefer to have them unpack on arrival and then pack when it's time to go.

I dream about my meal at Dalian in Bangkok.
(G-1 39 Boulevard Blg, 41 Soi Sukhumvit 33 Rd., Soi Phromchit, Klongton-Nua Wattana, Bangkok 10110)

Everywhere I go, I check out the pool.

When I arrive in a new place, I learn the lay of the land by walking.

I always bring home a girlfriend.

If I never return to Pluto, it'll be too soon because it was really cold.

I travel for the love.
