Burbank Airport 
Bob Hope Airport is a small commercial airport bordering a popular airstrip used for private jets and charter operations. Most flights in an out are domestic, short-haul flights. It is most convenient when your final destination is on the east side of Los Angeles or in the San Fernando Valley.  

Long Beach Airport
Daugherty Field is the southernmost airport servcing the Los Angeles area and offers easiest access to the South Bay and west side, as well as Orange County. Both cross-country and short haul domestic flights are available.

Los Angeles International Airport
LAX Is the largest and busiest airport and is the only one out in LA with an international terminal. Located near the neighborhood of Westchester, it is most convinient for those staying on the west side, South Bay, or south of Hollywood. If you can, avoid flying in during rush hours (weekdays 6:30-9 a.m.; 4:30-7:30 p.m.). 

Car Rental
When flying in and out of LAX, Long Beach, or Burbank, rent from one of the national chains. Round-trip cab fare is often more expensive than the competitve day rates.

Available citywide, this standby operation is best for immediate service. 

Public Transportation 
The sprawling city is serviced by the a bus and rail system. It’s not the most efficient or the easiest way to get around, nor is it a real way to avoid traffic, but it does in fact exist. Fares run between $1.50-$5. Schedules are available online.
